Grant Butler, founder and managing director, Editor Group
Grant Butler is a leading corporate writer and author of the new book, Think Write Grow – How to become a thought leader and build your business by creating exceptional articles, blogs, speeches, books and more (Wiley, 2012). Since 1998, Grant has been the founding Managing Director of Editor Group, Australia’s top corporate writing firm. He writes and edits an extensive range of thought leadership material for CEOs and other clients at some of the world’s most well-known companies and service firms. Grant is also an accomplished public speaker and trainer. He has addressed large groups on business writing skills and thought leadership marketing, including associations such as the Asia Pacific Professional Services Marketing Association and the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association. He has also trained groups from organisations including Commonwealth Bank, the Public Relations Institute of Australia, Microsoft, Middletons, Optus, PwC and Treasury. Before Editor Group, Grant was a senior journalist with The Australian Financial Review and wrote extensively for other business, IT and media industry publications in Australia, the UK and the US. He has also held public relations and public affairs roles with agencies in Sydney and with the BBC in London. Grant is the founding editor of PSF Journal, the strategy and business journal for marketing and business development professionals within service firms. He has published two books: Think, Write Grow (above) and Where’s the Loot? (Allen & Unwin, 2001), a book about the dot-com boom and entrepreneurial success.
