Jo Scard, founder and principal, Fifty Acres – The Communications Agency

Jo has played a unique role as a senior adviser in the Australian Federal Government for over a decade. She’s also worked as a communications strategist in London, a TV political journalist (Australia/UK) and as a s strategic adviser to countless corporates and Not-For-Profits across the globe. You could say Jo is a bit of a communications guru, thought that might make her blush.

She also co-authored the best-selling book ‘The Working Mother’s Survival Guide”. Despite Jo’s communications expertise, she’s happy pottering around her farm and driving her children to horse events. It’s about creating a realistic work-life balance.

Jo started Fifty Acres – The Communications Agency (previously the Jo Scard Agency) because she noticed a lack of quality service delivery in the communications landscape and knew she could fill that space.
