Matt Scotton, Sydney strategy director, UM Australia
Matt is the Sydney strategy director at UM, leading the strategic product of the agency which has been recently named ‘Media Agency of the Year’ at the Global Festival of Media Awards.
Matt has spent over ten years building his skills as a communications strategist working in both media and creative agencies in Sydney, London and Melbourne. Prior to joining UM Matt headed up communications strategy for Naked Communications in Melbourne. Here he won a swag of awards for campaigns such as Art Series hotel’s ‘Steal Banksy’ (Gold Cannes, Grand Prix ADMA), and ‘Overstay Checkout’ (Gold ADMA) and ‘Who Gives a Crap’ (Grand Prix at CommsCon 2013).
Matt will be presenting UM’s #XTL campaign, which recently won global campaign of the year at the Festival of Media Awards, it is a showcase of the power of social media in changing behaviour.
