Andrew is a social media producer for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. He spent three years working for ABC News 24, covering elections and breaking news for a social audience. He now is responsible for the national broadcaster’s international social media strategy and activity.
|Mandy Griffiths, Social Media Lead, Porter Novelli Melbourne
Mandy Griffiths is the head of PN Social at Porter Novelli.
As the Social Media Lead, Mandy has led award winning campaigns for Alzheimer's Australia, Bupa, Greyhound Adoption Program and Walt Disney Studios.
She won the 2015 PR Agency Professional of the Year at CommsCon.
Mandy is also the co-founder of offshoot agency, jack + bill, working in partnership with Pozible to provide pro-bono PR and social media support to local crowdfunding campaigns.
|Amanda Gome, Head of Digital & Social Media, ANZ, ANZ
Amanda Gome’s twin passions are business media and entrepreneurship.
As a journalist, publisher, senior executive and CEO, she has championed business journalism and been at the forefront of Australian publishing for more than 25 years; in particular leading change through the constant stream of disruptive technologies the media has faced in the 21st century.
She is currently group head of strategic content and digital media at ANZ where she is leading the bank’s content and social media strategy, delivering high quality content across the bank’s customer channels. She is also associate editor of BlueNotes, ANZ’s ground breaking thought leadership publication launched in April 2014.

As GM Social Media at Telstra in their Communications team, Danielle has worked for the past three years driving strategic social media programs of work across the organisation. With responsibility for Telstra’s social media policy, governance, internal social employee engagement, social media crisis management & managing the communications social media team – Danielle has recently returned from maternity leave and is focused on driving a number of key programs of work dedicated to activating and empowering Telstra’s 40,000+ employees to become the most socially savvy people on the planet!
|Isabelle Oderberg, Social Media Lead, Red Cross Australia
Isabelle Oderberg heads up social media at Australian Red Cross and sits on the committee of The Melbourne Press Club.
Isabelle started her career in journalism with a degree in Melbourne, then headed to London where she worked in the financial trade press before making a move into real-time news, working at international wires Reuters and Dow Jones. She returned to Melbourne to take up a post as lead mining writer at AAP and then joined Alan Kohler as founding news editor of Business Spectator, before becoming interviews editor and China commentator.
She was Herald Sun deputy business editor, then appointed the first social media editor in Australia. Later, as national social media editor at News Corp, she developed social media strategy across all of its Australian newsrooms.
