The Walkley Foundation MediaPass Student Industry Days

Jump start your career and get the inside scoop on journalism

In 2013, The Walkley Foundation invites all final year journalism and communications students to attend the Media Pass Industry Day, happening in their capital cities.

Sponsored by Media Super, a keen supporter of young Australian journalists, the training days are designed to provide final year journalism and communications student with real insights into the broad, multi-faceted journalism industry.

Accomplished young journalists, senior industry leaders and journalists working in niche areas will provide panel discussion to prepare students for the realities and pressures of the work place.

The days aim to equip students with practical skills and knowledge so that they can enter the industry with confidence and a competitive edge.
