Entries for the 2010 Young Australian Journalist of the Year Awards are open online here and will close at 5pm next Friday March 19.

Awards will be made in five categories: print, television, radio, online and photography.

The overall winner will receive an opportunity to visit media organisations in London and or New York and A$5,000 spending money.

Entry is open to Australian journalists aged 26 or under, employed full-time or freelance, and final-year university students who have had work published, broadcast or televised through Australian media outlets in the past 12 months (15 March 2009 – 14 March 2010).
