An upcoming seminar from UNCHR promises to shine a light on Africa and its stories.

Award winning Kenyan photojournalist Thomas Mukoya will be a keynote speaker at this upcoming event presented by UNHCR and sponsored by The Sydney Morning Herald. Based in Nairobi, Mukoya has been a Reuters photographer since 2004 and through his photography has documented Africa’s beauty and its pain, including showing the plight of refugees and displaced people across the continent. In his presentation Mukoya will share his experiences from the frontline, and the stories behind the lens.

He will be joined by special guests Kate Geraghty, photojournalist with The Sydney Morning Herald, and ABC TV's Eric Campbell, Foreign Correspondent, as MC.
