Press Freedom Raffle

PF_2015_banner4

Here in Australia, new national security powers threaten to jail journalists for up to 10 years and data retention is an insidious threat to our free press. In the Asia Pacific, journalists face grave dangers with 39 journalists murdered in targeted killings last year. Once again MEAA and The Walkley Foundation, supported by the International Federation of Journalists Asia Pacific, are raising money for the Media Safety and Solidarity Fund to support colleagues in the Asia region through emergencies, war and hardship and help fund the education of the children of slain journalists.

Show your support and help us raise funds by buying or selling tickets in the Press Freedom Raffle… you could win a great prize!
