The finalists for the inaugural Young Australian Journalist of the Year Awards reflect the range of bright young talent in Australia's media.
The future of Australian journalism is in good hands if the range and quality of entries for the inaugural Young Australian Journalist of the Year Awards is any indication. The Walkley Foundation is delighted to announce the finalists for the awards, which recognise the best work from Australian journalists aged 26 and under. Around 150 journalists submitted entries for these awards of which 15 nominees, across print, radio, television, photography and online media, have been shortlisted for judging by members of the Walkley Advisory Board.
