2014 winner

Ella (@EDRubeli) has had her still photographs and short films published in The Guardian UK & Australia, New York’s Narrative.ly, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Global Mail.

After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of Technology, Sydney and a semester of multimedia journalism at the Danish School of Journalism, Ella joined The Global Mail as a staff photojournalist where she remained for two years. The Global Mail allowed Ella to explore her passion for multimedia storytelling, combining her skills of still photography and video in interactive projects. She left The Global Mail in November 2013 to pursue studies in documentary filmmaking.
